Everything you need to know about protection, delivery, refunds and fees before you buy.
Section 1
Official tickets vs fan resale protection
Every ticket on PromoTix is labeled so you always know where it came from. Both are protected, in slightly different ways.
PromoTix Official Tickets
Sold directly by the event creator through PromoTix.

Secondary resale protection
Sold by another fan. Prices are set by the seller.

- ✓ Replacement or refund if a ticket is not accepted
- ✓ Cancelled events refunded, minus no fees we can recover

Section 2
Purchasing tickets
Buying takes four short steps. You keep the ticket held for ten minutes while you check out.

- 2Choose ticketsPick Official or Fan resale, then the type and quantity.
- 3Check outAdd your details and any promo code. Fees are shown line by line.
- 4Get your ticketsThey appear in My tickets with a QR code straight away.
Section 3
Validity guarantee
If a ticket you bought is refused at the door, we make it right. Tell us within 24 hours and we will find you an equal or better ticket, or refund you in full.
Section 4
Digital delivery
Tickets are digital. Once your order is complete, you will find them under My tickets.

Add the QR code to your phone wallet or screenshot it for offline entry. Rotating codes only appear within a few hours of doors.
Section 5
Refunds and cancellations
Event cancelled
Full refund of the ticket price, automatically, within 5 business days.
Event rescheduled
Your ticket moves to the new date. If you cannot attend, request a refund within 14 days.
You cannot go
Official tickets follow the creator's policy. Resale tickets can be listed again for sale.
Section 6
Buyer fees
You see every fee before you pay. Nothing is added on the last screen.

Section 7
Sales tax
Some places charge tax on tickets. When one applies, we add it at checkout and show it as its own line so you can see what you are paying for.
- Tax is calculated from the event's location.
- Tickets for events in a different country may show VAT or GST instead.
- Tax is refunded together with the ticket price if an order is refunded.
